Lilith Project – The Lilith Project is a 2nd tier service working with organisations to combat all forms of violence against women by conducting research, providing training and awareness raising activities, lobbying for legislative changes and working directly with women who have experienced sexual violence.
The Research and Development Manager will:
- Oversee the management of all Research and Development activities
- Develop the project and attract futher funding opportunities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Lilith Project
- Establish a high profile for the Lilith Project
- Initiate and manage Lilith relationships with other organisations
- Advise the Eaves Board on strategic matters and take forward the strategic planning process in the Research and Development Team
You must have a strong commitment to delivering a responsive service to vulnerable women and also have the following experience:
- Excellent proven research and analytical skills
- Extensive experience of participating, and delivering large research projects
- Experience of developing policy positions and influencing government policy
- Knowledge of the Violence Against Women agenda, knowledge of how central and local government legislation and policy development may impact on agencies working in this field
- Knowledge of trafficking, prostitution and related law and policy considerations
- Substantial staff management experience
